Rope Barriers in the Park

Madison Square Park has a wonderful art installation by Orly Genger: Red, Yellow And Blue which spans the entire park through three massive rope sculptures.  According to the Park’s Website, the installation involves 1.4 million feet of hand-knit, hand-painted, and hand-placed lobster-fishing rope.  Aside from Madison Square Park being a gem itself, the installation feels massively breath-taking.  It will  be around until early September 2013, so don’t miss it.
